Land Conservation

Rocky and the MacRo team play an active role in area conservation efforts. Indeed, over the last 10 years, the MacRo Team has worked closely with property owners and conservation organizations to preserve more than 6,000 acres of land in Maryland, New York and Vermont. MacRo is also assisting clients regarding the sale of development easements for more than 1200 acres in Montgomery, Frederick and Washington counties in Maryland.

MacRo, Ltd. is a benefactor member of the Carrollton Manor Land Trust in Buckeystown, Maryland. Other memberships include the Civil War Preservation Trust, Land Trust Alliance, American Farmland Trust and the Frederick County Maryland Farm Bureau.
